There Is No Better Cup Of Coffee!

Being a total coffee snob ( I even took an extra suitcase to Costa Rica just for coffee) I used to use a cappuccino machine but once I tried coffee with the Melitta pot and filter I dumped the Cappuccino machine. This is the only way to make coffee in my opinion. Coffee pots tend to burn the coffee. Give this a try and I'll bet you never go back to brewed coffee again~ Also who needs all that clutter on the counter. I even take mine camping!

Still The Best Cup Of Coffee

This simple coffeemaker still makes a way better cup of coffee than all the fancy automatic jobs that pass the water through metal coils, which gather gunk and clunk, and sometimes impart the taste of their fancy plastic construction to the coffee. Only drawback to these with a gas stovetop - if you like your coffee really really hot (which I do) - is that you must keep a very very small flame under the glass. But now matter how fancy the coffeemaker I get - I always go back to these. This is the best coffee maker ever produced. Mine walked away during a move and I had a hard time locating one until I discovered it on the Amazon site. Now I can have perfect coffee again.

Finally, a coffee maker that does not depend on electricity or percolation! Like another reviewer said, this is the only place I have found this coffee maker. You have complete control of your coffee, and it doesn't cook to death like in a percolator. Works when power is out too, as long as you have a source of heat to boil water.
